I really dislike the fanfiction American Dreams in an English Village. I don’t mean to offend the people who like it or the author, but personally it’s not my cup of tea. The relationship between Alfred and Arthur in the story just really bothers me. Both of them are co-dependent and manipulative as hell and it’s just a highly unhealthy relationship all around. I’ve tried really hard to like it but I just can’t. I have no earthly idea how it became so popular.
