I’m disappointed in whoever first came up with the concept that England is schizophrenic. Not only is the mental disorder incorrectly portrayed in nearly all of its “fan art”, but the fact that people can make fun of something as serious as someone’s brain working incorrectly sickens me. Call me stiff or boring, but I will never condone making light of a person’s difficulty to function in our society. Whether it’s schizophrenia or not, a mental illness or disorder impacts everyone around that person. It can be scary for both them and the people that care for them.
I should know. My brother is on the autism spectrum.
